This ACD has been created using a one-way valve that prevents air from pushing an obstruction further downwards, but suctions the obstruction upwards clearing the airway. The suction generates negative pressure that is 3 times greater than the highest choke pressure recorded! Note: Pediatric size is not equipped to be used on patients who weigh less than 22lbs (based on the manufacturer general guidelines, 22lbs is the recommended minimum weight for a proper fit).
