The only difference between the CO₂ and Gas variant is the magazine, they are interchangeable. CO2 should NOT be used in above 59 °F temperatures. Doing so can lead to damage and premature breakage of internal parts due to the higher pressure in the CO2 cartridges. We recommend using Novritsch BBs for the best performance. Please do not use Crosman branded CO₂ capsules with the SSP1, as these are too big and could get stuck in the magazine.
